Pauline Huddleson

I’m a newer artist who learned to paint with a lot of practice and by participating in virtual painting lessons. I have a deep appreciation and gratitude for nature, be it landscapes, sunsets, mountains, flowers, or animals. I have been known to tear up when hiking or snowshoeing, just from the beauty I experience. I live part-time in Denver and am blessed to spend the rest of my time in Grand Lake, Colorado, where there is plenty of inspiration. I started painting in early 2020, for fun; never planning where it would lead, only to have a piece to frame and put on my wall. I have spent the last year learning new techniques and incorporating gouache with watercolor. I am a city girl, but have learned to enjoy painting cows, moose, horses, and dogs. I never knew cows had such beautiful eyes – I was captured. Of course, colorful flowers and old buildings will always be favorites too.
