Diane Pittard

This Tennessee girl grew up loving all forms of art. Im remembering how special I felt each time I was praised for my work by teachers and peers in Elementary school. Special attention and encouragement from my grandmother gave me courage and I was never afraid to try new things. Marrying and moving to Texas in the seventies I started to dab a bit in sketching and workshops and watercolor and oil paint classes. Pleinaire painting with friend groups always brought fun and learning skills. Sketching and painting portraits has become a favorite challenge for me, While traveling and watercolor journaling is now a wonderful addition to my joys. Making art has always been my favorite past time.
