Cathy McCracken

Cathy McCracken- I am an Artist. I have lived in Alaska for over 34 years, originally from Tennessee. I paint in Acrylic, Oil and Watercolor. I started painting about 6 1/2 years ago. What lead me to painting – I was trying to find something totally different than what I did for a living. I saw this beautiful painting workshop ad at the local art supply store for Acrylics, with artist Jennifer Bowman, Her POPPIES were amazing and full of color , it called to me. My family is very supportive of this adventure. I found I loved painting and could get lost in the process, just what I needed. I discovered Dreama Tolle Perry courses in 2017 and life has not been the same. I have gone on to win awards and participate in international charity art fundraising events for children’s healthcare and I have traveled for a workshop with international artist Roisin O’Farrell. I retired in 2021 and am looking forward to being in my new studio seeing where Art takes me.
