Cate Clark is a painter and artist originally from Iowa, now based in beautiful Colorado for over 20 years. She has spent much of her life immersed in various forms of creating and teaching art. She obtained a Bachelor’s in Art Education from Mankato University in 1973 and taught art in many kindergarten-12th grade schools while raising two daughters. She has worked extensively with dried florals, loves to garden, and loves the colors and textures that plants and florals display. She has re-kindled her love of painting, particularly with oil, during her retirement. Inspired by landscapes, florals, and particularly scenes from Italy and France, she took a dream painting trip to Italy in 2008 where she collected memories and images to connect to her work. She loves continuing to learn and grow through her artwork and connect with other artists.
